Aliki Zeniou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Heraklion, Crete, School of Health and Welfare Professions, as well as a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from the European University. She is registered with the Cyprus Council for the Registration of Social Workers and, since June 2023, has been working as a Social Worker at Hope for Children. Her primary responsibilities in the Adoption Department include the assessment, training, support, and post-placement follow-up of prospective and approved foster parents. Previously, she worked at the Unaccompanied Minors Shelter in Larnaca, where she provided support and assisted in the social integration of unaccompanied children. She then joined the “Aktida” program, offering education and counseling to parents of children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
