Clinical Psychologist
Petroula Hadjifoti works “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center as a Clinical Psychologist at the “Children’s House”, in Limassol.
Petroula studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Then she continued her studies at the University of Sofia «St. Kliment Ohridski» in the department of Clinical and Counselling Psychology, where she acquired her Master’s Degree. Currently, she is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
As a Clinical Psychologist, she worked in a private clinic, providing psychological support to individuals with emotional, eating and anxiety disorders, as well as to individuals with addictions. Furthermore, she worked at the Open University of Cyprus participating in a European Union Research Program for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. Finally, in the past Petroula worked as a prevention worker, carrying out workshops to students for the prevention of addictions and promotion of mental health.
