Clinical Psychologist
Anna Manentzou holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Sunderland (BSc Hons Psychology) and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the European University Cyprus (MSc). During her studies, she actively participated in volunteer programs through the Student Union, providing counseling support to students facing emotional, social, and practical difficulties. She completed her clinical internship at the Psychiatric Clinic of Limassol General Hospital and at the Hope For Children CRC Policy Center, offering psychological support services to children and adolescents, parental counseling, as well as assessment and training of prospective foster parents. Since January 2022, she has been working in the Foster Care Department of Hope For Children. Initially as a trainee Clinical Psychologist and subsequently as a registered professional in the field of Clinical Psychology, she has undertaken responsibilities including the assessment, training, and support of prospective and approved foster parents, the psychological care of children and adolescents, and the support of unaccompanied minors within the framework of semi-independent living. Additionally, she conducts experiential workshops in schools aimed at preventing and addressing phenomena such as violence and bullying.
