Project Scope
Sexual abuse has significant detrimental effects on young people, leading to long-term detrimental affects that cause social exclusion in terms of negative impacts on mental and emotional health, development and wellbeing, throughout key parts of their lives with severe knock-on results.
General Objective
Keep Me Safe: Supporting youth peer development tacking sexual abuse. The prevalence of sexual abuse towards children and young people is a significant societal challenge in Europe Protection Convention.
Specific Objectives
- Developing good formal and informal relationships with Keep Me Safe project partners that build trust and she responsibility, whilst respecting difference
- Promoting a culture of trust and a mutual respect for each other's roles and responsibilities
- Ensuring top level commitment to the project
- Being committed to work with and learn from other partners
Activities
- Providing regular progress reports and information on project activities and expenditure as required
- Conducting consultation, investigation, design and testing
- Participating in developing new methodology concepts and content
- Developing, piloting and testing new curriculum and content, recognition tools and producing e-learning content
- Awareness raising and dissemination including Multiplier event and contributing information, new items and articles
