In the framework of the project "Stress? No thanks. Youth workers in balance, ready for youth challenges", a training course took place in Marbella, Spain, on Oct. 16-23, 2023, and involved 24 youth workers from 3 EU regions: Cyprus, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Italy (South); Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Romania (East); and Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania (Northeast).
During the training, participants developed the "Stress? No, thanks SEAL", a digital decalogue aimed at raising awareness of mental health practices among organizations, including tips, attitudes and behaviors for creating stress-free and mental health-friendly environments.
Overall, the project aimed to raise awareness of mental health issues through a capacity-building opportunity for youth workers to learn new stress management techniques and apply them in their high-pressure work environment.
The project "Stress? No thanks. Youth workers in balance, ready for youth challenges", coordinated by Gantalcalá, in collaboration with "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center and 10 other European organizations, has been co-funded Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
