The Director-General of "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center (HFC), Joseph Borghese, announced the decision of the Council of Europe's Coordinating Committee for the Rights of the Child during its 5th Plenary to grant Observer status to the humanitarian organization.
Established in 2020, the Coordinating Committee for the Rights of the Child (CDENF) is the intergovernmental body of the Council of Europe responsible for setting standards in the field of children's rights. It guides the work of the Council of Europe in this field by advising the Committee of Ministers on appropriate action and proposals concerning the overall priorities to be taken in its area of competence and future work.
"It is an honor for "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center to have the opportunity to participate in the plenary sessions of the CDENF and benefit from the valuable exchange of ideas, best practices, and the overall work of the Committee," Mr. Borghese stated.
